Per Diem rates in Poland, 2026

Domestic travel

Per diem: PLN 45/day.

• 8–12 hours = 50% (PLN 22.50), over 12 hours = full per diem, under 8 hours = no allowance.
• On multi-day trips, the departure and return days are counted partially.
• Meals provided by the employer reduce the per diem (breakfast –25%, lunch –50%, dinner –25%).
• Accommodation is reimbursed based on receipts; a fixed allowance is possible without a receipt.

International travel

• The per diem amount depends on the destination country.
• Partial days: <8 hours = ⅓, 8–12 hours = 50%, >12 hours = full.
• Meals reduce the per diem (breakfast approx. 15%, lunch/dinner approx. 30% each).
• Accommodation is reimbursed based on receipts, or alternatively as a fixed portion.
• Local transport is often reimbursed as well (e.g. 10% of the per diem amount per day).
